Swing by the Bill Woods Park across from the library on Friday August 6th for the final showing in this summer’s outdoor movie series. The movie will start at dusk (probably around 9:10), but you should plan to be there by 9pm just to be safe. Free bottled water and popcorn will be provided for anyone attending.
If the weather proves uncooperative, we will reschedule the movie to a later date.
If you are ever in the mood to read a classic work but unable to make it in to the library, then Pagebypagebooks.com might be a good site to check-out.
Update: Due to unfavorable weather conditions, we are cancelling the Saturday July 31st Movie in the Park.
Weather permitting, we plan to show the rescheduled movie on Saturday July 31st in Bill Woods Park. The movie should start at approximately 9pm. Be sure to call the library for the movie title ((606)549-0818).
Friday August 6th is scheduled to be the third and final outdoor movie of the summer.
Tonight’s Movie in the Park has been postponed due to weather. We will reschedule the movie for later in the summer.
The first night of Movies in the Park will kick-off on Friday July 9th at dark. Weather willing. We are estimating that the movie will begin at approximately 9:15pm. Due to licensing restrictions you need to call the library at 549-0818 or ask in person to find out the movie title.
Look for additional films to be shown on Friday July 23rd and August 6th.
The library will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair from Tuesday July 6th through Friday July 16th.
The library will be closed on Monday July 5th in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. We will resume normal operating hours on July 6th.
