Freegal 4.0 has just launched, and by the end of the summer the library’s digital music collection will top 7 million songs from over 28,000 record labels including Sony Music Entertainment. The collection also includes over 8,000 popular DRM-free music videos that are also available to download.

The library now offers free music downloads through Freegal. The service accesses the Sony Music Catalog and allows each patron to download a limited number of free songs per week. The download count resets each Monday morning. All you need is your library card and PIN number. To start downloading, visit the library’s Freegal portal.
