Would you like to checkout and read an ebook, but you don’t have an ebook reader? How about listen to a digital audiobook while on the go? If you have a smartphone or similar device, then chances are that there’s an app for that.
Overdrive, the company behind Kentucky Libraries Unbound, announced the release of the OverDrive Media Console for Windows Phone yesterday. The Overdrive Media Console app is also available for Android™, BlackBerry®, and iPhone®/iPad® phones and devices. The app allows these devices to download EPUB format ebooks and MP3 format audiobooks directly.
If you find yourself standing in line at the grocery store, waiting on the fish to bite, or sitting on the beach, you can download a good book (assuming you have an internet connection, of course) to read or listen to anytime and anyplace.
